Home Equity Loans

A home equity loan is a great way to buy a vehicle, consolidate debt, take a vacation, or make home improvements.  You can apply for a variable rate home equity line of credit or a fixed rate and term second mortgage loan, using your home as collateral.

The AllSouth advantages:

  • Interest is generally tax deductible. Please consult your tax advisor to determine deductibility.
  • Flexible payments and terms.
  • Access to your funds using a check or through online banking.
  • Convenient application process.

To calculate the estimated equity in your home, use the following example:

Estimate value of your property $100,000
Multiply by 80%*          x .80
  $  80,000
Minus current 1st mortgage balance $  50,000
Estimated equity available for loan $  30,000
