Western Union Money Orders

In an emergency, Western Union money orders are a way to quickly send money to yourself or other parties in the United States or (limited) overseas.

Funds are sent through Western Union and can be received at any of the 9000 local Western Union agencies/truck stops in the continental United States with limited service to Alaska and Hawaii.

Commercial money orders can be picked up within 2 hours after they are phoned into Western Union.

The current fee for a commercial money order is $20.00.

Wire Transfers

Receiving Funds

AllSouth charges a $5 fee to receive funds from another financial institution.

To receive a wire transfer, please provide the sender/payor the following instructions:

Sending Funds

AllSouth Federal Credit Union can wire funds to institutions around the world that have a corresponding U.S. Bank and are capable of receiving the wired funds. The fee for an outgoing domestic wire is $10. Bank to Bank wire requests must be received and verified by 3:00 PM EST to be processed the same day.  Please note, wires may be delayed pending verification of sender identity. The fee for international wires is $10 plus an additional sum charged by the intermediary bank, usually $15 to $35.

To send a wire, complete and sign the Western Union/Commercial Money Order form or the Bank to Bank Wire form and fax it with a copy of your driver's license or other qualified identification to 803-699-5673, visit the branch location nearest you,  or contact the Member Answer Center at 803-736-3110.
