Payroll Deduction
Saves you time every payday. You have a portion of your paycheck sent automatically to AllSouth for deposit into one or more of your accounts, as specified. The amount of the payroll deduction may be raised or lowered at the discretion of your employer's payroll department. To sign up for payroll deduction, simply pick up the forms at your payroll department, any of AllSouth's branches, or call the Member Answer Center at 803-736-3110 and a Representative will mail them to you.
Direct Deposit
If your employer offers Direct Deposit, you may have your paycheck (less taxes and other deductions) automatically transmited to your AllSouth Federal Credit Union Account. Direct Deposit is an easy way to make sure your pay is deposited into your account on time. Plus, direct deposit saves you a trip to the branch on those busy days.
The Direct Deposit Program may also be used for Social Security and other benefit/pension checks. The United States Government has changed the January 1999 law requiring all individuals receiving US Government checks to start having their payments directly deposited. Although direct deposit of federal payments is strictly voluntary, it remains to be the best method of payment in terms of security and convenience.
To start your Direct Deposit or Payroll Deduction
Submit a copy of the appropriate form to your employer and the Credit Union. To help you fill out the form:
