OFFICIAL RULES FOR ALLSOUTH FEDERAL CREDIT UNION “GIVEAWAY CAMPAIGN”. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. SWEEPSTAKES RUNS 5/1/2023-7/31/2023.

SWEEPSTAKES DESCRIPTION: Open a new membership account with a qualifying new checking account with AllSouth Federal Credit Union (herein sometimes referred to as “AllSouth”, “Credit Union”, “We”) during the promotion period and you will be automatically entered into the sweepstakes. Qualifying checking accounts equal AllSouth’s Interest Checking or Freedom Checking. To qualify the primary account holder cannot have previously held a membership account with AllSouth Federal Credit Union as the primary or joint owner. All qualification criteria must be met during the promotion period. Once all qualification criteria have been met you will be automatically entered into the next monthly drawing for a chance to win $1,000. If you do not win in a given monthly drawing your entry will carry over to the next month of the promotion period. Once you win, you will not be eligible to win again.

ELIGIBILITY:  To qualify for the promotion and be entered into the sweepstakes, you must: (1) Not be a current member of AllSouth, (2) Be completely new to AllSouth, no existing youth accounts or joint account owners (3) Be 18 years of age or older, (4) be a legal resident of the United States (its territories and possessions) at time of entry, and (5) Open a Membership Savings account with a qualifying AllSouth Checking account. Qualifying checking accounts equal AllSouth’s Interest Checking or Freedom Checking. New members are subject to eligibility requirements and AllSouth’s normal account opening and approval process. AllSouth Federal Credit Union and its respective officers, directors, board members, employees, and the immediate family members of such individuals are not eligible to participate or win the prize. Qualified entrants are eligible to win only once during the sweepstakes period. Individuals who had a membership with AllSouth prior to the start date of this promotion are not eligible. Business, trust, estate, club/association, guardianship/conservatorship, court ordered/blocked, representative payee/custodial accounts and any other account not classified as a retail Membership Savings account are not eligible for this promotion. This promotion is void where prohibited.

TO ENTER AUTOMATICALLY: Open a new membership account with a qualifying new checking account with AllSouth during the promotion period and you will be automatically entered into the sweepstakes. Automatic entries will be recorded by AllSouth during the daily processing within the sweepstakes period between 5/1/2023 and 7/31/2023 once all criteria have been met.

TO ENTER BY MAIL: Send a 3 ½ x 5 card with your name, date of birth, daytime phone number and mailing address to: AllSouth Federal Credit Union Marketing Department., “Giveaway,” 730 Elmwood Ave., Columbia, SC 29201. Each handwritten entry will be deemed received by AllSouth when it is time and date stamped by AllSouth personnel. Only one entry per qualifying new membership account accepted. Multiple entries are void, and if a handwritten entry is declared a winner, but AllSouth is unable to determine the winner due to illegible writing, that entry will be disqualified. Each handwritten entry will receive one chance to win within the drawing period. All handwritten entries must be received by 5:00 pm Eastern Standard Time on July 31, 2023.

DRAWING AND NOTIFICATION: Monthly drawings will be held as shown in the table below, with one winner randomly selected from all eligible entries in the drawing period. Entries not selected as a monthly winner will be included in subsequent monthly drawings. Odds of winning each drawing depends on the number of eligible entries in each drawing period. Each winner will be notified by phone and/or email. If a potential winner does not respond to AllSouth within three (3) business days from first notification attempt, then such person shall be disqualified, and an alternate winner will be chosen randomly from the eligible pool for that drawing. All prizes will be awarded. If any notification attempt or prize delivery fails or is returned for any reason, such potential winner may forfeit the prize.

PRIZES: Prizes include three (3) $1,000 cash prizes. All prizes are subject to change throughout the promotion period. Prizes are not transferable. Prizes will be credited to the winning party’s Membership Savings account. It may take up to 15 days after the winning party has been notified for the credit to be processed and available in the Membership Savings account. Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of entrants at the time of the drawing.

PRIZE CONDITIONS: All federal, state or other tax liabilities (including income taxes) arising from this drawing will be the sole responsibility of the winner. Each winner must provide AllSouth with valid identification before any prize will be awarded. Except where prohibited by law, the winner’s entry and acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for the sweepstakes entitles to use said winner’s name, photograph, likeness, statements, biographical information, and voice on a worldwide basis, in all forms of media without further compensation. If we in our sole discretion determine that you have engaged in abuse, misuse, or gaming in connection with this offer in any way or that you intend to do so, we may not credit the bonus to you, and or we may freeze the bonus to, or we may take away the bonus from your account if deposited to an AllSouth account.

SWEEPSTAKES CONDITIONS: This sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws, and may also be impacted by applicable international law. By participating entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decision of the sponsor and waive any right to claim ambiguity in the sweepstakes or these Official Rules. Sponsor may prohibit an entrant from participating in the sweepstakes or winning a prize if, at its sole discretion, it determines that said entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the sweepstakes by cheating, deception or unfair playing practices or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrants or sponsor representatives. If for any reason this sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including, but not limited to, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of the sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the promotion, then the sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to award all prizes by conducting a random drawing from all eligible mailed entries received. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with the sweepstakes will be ineligible for prizes and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Winner and entrants agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the sweepstakes entities which includes, AllSouth, any person, organization or company, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents from and against any claims made by the winner, entrants or any other third parties related in any way to the operation of this sweepstakes, as well as any other claims, damages or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses (whether alleged, threatened, or actual) to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance possession, misuse or use of any prize or participation in any sweepstakes -related activity or participation in this sweepstakes.
