Soldiers & Vets Charity Golf Tournament

We are pleased to announce our 27th annual Soldiers & Vets Charity Golf Tournament presented by Visa.

Established in 1996, our Soldiers & Vets Charity Golf Tournament has raised over $330,000 to support our military communities and their families in the Midlands and throughout South Carolina. Through sponsorships and donations from local businesses, individuals, and other organizations, we’re able to raise awareness and funds for these important charities that are actively making a difference in the lives of those who sacrifice so much for our country and our freedoms. 

This year’s tournament will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at Golden Hills Golf & Country Club in Lexington, SC. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit Transitions Homeless Center.

More About Transitions Homeless Center

Since opening in June of 2011, Transitions has helped more than 3,298 men and women move out of homelessness and into permanent housing. Annually, 10-11% of Transitions clients are veterans, and Transitions case managers work closely with the clinical staff at Dorn VA Regional Medical Center to help these men and women address their medical and mental health issues, secure sources of income, and find appropriate permanent housing.
