How are scholarship winners selected?
In addition to eligibility guidelines, the following will be considered in selecting recipients: Academic performance and awards/recognition, a letter of recommendation highlighting your character, school activities including leadership roles, employment experience, and a short essay on how furthering your education will impact your life and community.

Do I have to use the award at a university, college, trade school, or technical school within South Carolina?
The scholarship award can be used outside of South Carolina. Recipients can use it toward any university, college, trade school, or technical school the student plans to attend.

Do I have to be an AllSouth member to be eligible?
To qualify for the Scholarship Program, applicants must be an AllSouth member (not the applicant’s parent/guardian) in good standing for a minimum of 60 days.

Are there any limitations to applying?
Individuals who are officials, employees, or immediate family members of AllSouth employees are not eligible for this scholarship. Immediate family members include spouses, children, parents, grandparents, grandchildren, siblings, and all step-relationships (e.g., stepfather, stepsister, etc.). Additionally, individuals who have previously received an AllSouth Scholarship are not eligible to apply again.
