It’s part of our mission to make a difference and help improve the quality of life for the communities we serve by volunteering our time and giving financial gifts to local organizations, causes, and charities that reflect our shared values of supporting the military, family crisis, and issues of homelessness and hunger in the Midlands area.
Our Soldiers & Vets Charity Golf Tournament is our largest fundraiser that allows us to give back to the communities we serve. Established in 1996, our tournament has raised over $350,000 for organizations throughout the Midlands. Our next tournament will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Golden Hills Golf & Country Club in Lexington, SC. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Fort Jackson-Palmetto State Chapter of the Association of the United States Army, AUSA.
Here are ways we supported our communities.
During the holidays, AllSouth gives back by adopting families through the Families Helping Families holiday assistance program, donating gifts for “Christmas with Epworth” hosted by Epworth Children’s Home, and hosting food drives at our locations to benefit Harvest Hope Food Bank.
We have also provided sponsorships and donations to local organizations that share our dedication to making a difference in our communities like:
- Family Shelter, a program of Homeless No More
- Meals on Wheels, a program of Senior Resources
- Big Red Barn Retreat
- PAALS
- LRADAC (Lexington/Richland Alcohol and Drug Abuse Council)
- Walk for Life and Famously Hot Pink Half Marathon in Columbia
