Who can join?
Becoming a member is easy and we welcome the opportunity to serve you and your family.4 You are eligible if you live, work, worship, or attend school in the Columbia-Orangeburg-Newberry Combined Statistical Area consisting of Calhoun, Fairfield, Kershaw, Lexington, Newberry, Orangeburg, Richland, or Saluda Counties as well as Sumter County, South Carolina.

What will I need to open an account online?
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Social Security Number or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number
- Contact information, such as address and phone number
- If you want another person on your account as a joint member, they will need to submit their information too.

Is there a monthly maintenance fee?
With our Interest Checking account, there is a $3.00 monthly maintenance fee. If you maintain an average daily balance of $1,000 or more, we’ll waive the monthly fee.5

Is there an average daily balance requirement?
With our Interest Checking account, there is a $1,000 average daily balance requirement to earn dividends.

Will I need to make an initial deposit?
To open your Interest Checking account online, you will need to make a $25 deposit. This is your money, not a fee for opening the account. It just ensures that you’re a real person! Don’t want to make a deposit online? We do not require a minimum deposit when opening a checking account in person at one of our locations.

Is my money secure with AllSouth?
AllSouth Federal Credit Union is federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), an agency of the federal government.
